Lambent Sky, Brumous Band

The angular landscape is my try at using Jen De La Cruz's 2010 "Jen's Recipe for River Valleys" tutorial.

The process worked quite well, apart from the terraced effect I get each time I try producing a smooth gradient for Bryce. I finally exported the terrain as a Wavefront object, imported it, and that's when I ran out of time.

I adjusted DAZ 3D's Weekend sky and Arizona terrain material on my way to getting this image, and learned something in the process: so it was time well-spent.

Since the picture isn't as finished as I like, this week's Apathetic Lemming of the North post was profusely narrated:
